Tuesday 29 November

This plant on the dune edge at Wolsty Banks has been puzzling me since I went to Allonby. I think it is going to be Sea Radish but I'll probably have to wait until the summer to find out.

Monday 27 November

There was Hogweed on the verges near Aikton.

There was a flock of Common Gulls in with the sheep. Another field had what seemed to be the largest gathering of Stock Doves I've seen in one place - more reminiscent of Wood Pigeons. The hedgerows had many Fieldfares, Blackbirds, Chaffinches, Goldfinches, Robins and Great Tits.

The oak trees seem to be the last holding onto their leaves.

Saturday 26 November

Herring Gulls over St Mary's this morning.

The rest of the action was in Lidl car park, starting with a Black-headed Gull

Herring Gull on the roof.
Jackdaws in the tree. They always stay as pairs even when they are flocking.

Friday 25 November

We were on the beach at Allonby. I think this is Sea Mayweed but need a closer look next time.
There were 3 Turnstones somewhere in this picture!
